The Monte & Lago apartments are located in the quiet village of Ponte Caffaro, from here you can reach the banks of the lake hydro in a few minutes on foot, organize a walk in the mountains, visit the villages of Bagolino and that of Bondone in nearby Trentino and taste our most famous local foods, from bagoss cheese to Storo polenta.
WHAT CAN I FIND CLOSE TO HOME?
Located about 200 meters from the center of Ponte Caffaro, in the direction of the lake, we can find various commercial activities in the surrounding area.
Breakfast on the fly… Just cross the street in front of the house, to find a pastry bar where you can have an excellent breakfast quickly and comfortably.
At about 50 meters, there is a fruit and vegetable shop and moving a few meters further we find a hairdresser’s shop, a pharmacy, a butcher’s shop, and a grocery store well stocked with products, especially local ones.
In front of the house, there is a bicycle repair and rental business, convenient for those who have a bike in tow or want to use it even just for a day.
ACTIVITIES
Lake Idro can be reached on foot with a 10-minute walk, alternatively you can reach it by car and find parking easily, on the beachfront site there is a kiosk bar and a restaurant.
The most famous sports practiced on Lake Idro are paragliding, kite surfing, windsurfing and canoeing.
In the summer season, the boat that connects Baitoni, Ponte Caffaro, Anfo and Idro starts operating.
